Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.
If we look at the statistics on Personal Development and the amount of people that actively pursuit their individual growth, we’ll find not many people carry out the suggestions given.
Some people may not use the tools correctly in order to receive the results they want.
We have many gurus in the Persona Development Industry that swear that change can take place if we only do this or that.
I personally believe for any circumstance or situation to change, that our state of mind first needs to be examined.
~Quote by Winston Churchill~ The empires of the future are the empires of the mind.
Sometimes we find ourselves stuck in our quest to attempt joy and happiness. At that point, many give up on their dream, goals and on their life. Many people do not know how to move on without considering themselves as failures. I can tell you from experience, many obstacles can happen and probably will happen. Obstacles are Life Lessons we need to get to the next level. For example; sickness, loss of a job, death of a love one and even financial ruin. We have to take a deep look within and know we still have what it takes. You can still pull on your inner strength to pull you out of the pit.
You can reach your Summit in Personal Development. It is your apex. It is the highest point. It is exhilarating to know that you accomplished reaching your apex, when YOUR OWN MIND, said you couldn’t. I love to see winners. It motivates me and others to stay on the journey.
There are stumbling blocks at the onset of any change in our mind and fear then begins to set in. The mind to give up is constantly nagging you. Your defensive mechanism are down and you feel you cannot go on. You are spinning your wheels and not moving.
There are common stumbling blocks that will try to keep you from reaching your summit in personal development.
The following are some of them.
1. The lack of clarity. If we don’t have a clear vision, you might end up where you did not want to go. The lack of clarity can become a snowball effect. We all need clear vision to reach our summit in personal development.
2. Too much to achieve at once. Sometimes out of eagerness to achieve, we can put too much on our plate. Have we ever been at a Thanksgiving dinner and everything looks scrumptious and so you load your plate to the top, knowing you will not eat it all. LOL. This can happen on our journey to reach the summit, too many things with little time to achieve.
3. Limiting beliefs will always HOLD you back. Whatever your mind can conceive, with time it will be birth. You have to change how you think in order to reach your highest peak.
4. Don’t avoid the problem. Too many times I see many people and sometimes my clients refusing to confront the problem. Maybe it hurts too much, the emotions may be shattered by mental and emotional abuse. Whatever the reason, we have to face the giants in order to kill them. I too have faced may giants, but the law of attraction and a change of beliefs will help you reach your summit.
My friends, the parachute of the mind has to be open and in order to receive new ideas, concepts and strategies that work on your behalf. Do not look back, keep looking forward and reach your summit in personal development.
Thank you and I hope you can help me attain my summit, by commenting and your feedback.
