Change is essential and change is constant. We are all in the process of “change”.
Change will occur in any time span of our life. Change does not need our permission. It does not inquire to see if we are ready, or if we are willing.
As we look at our world, we can see the evidence of things that have changed and are changing. The four seasons in our climate most definitely bring change. It is naked to our natural eye. In North Carolina the state in which I reside, we are experiencing changes in our temperatures. The evenings are becoming cooler and we are in expectation of the Autumn Season to begin. The changes it brings is the turning of the leaves from green to bright yellow, oranges and reds. Oh what changes! These changes are in our favor, but the changes we will discuss in this post are the areas we most resist.
A simple definition for the word change according to Merriam-Webster is transform or radically different.
Change is a common topic in the realm of Personal Development. why? Because it is part of life. If we find that we are not successful, then we might take a look at our beliefs and how our beliefs control everything we say and our actions as well. (just take a minute to think about this)Changing our beliefs will result in success.
If we are looking for improvement in the outcome of our livelihood, then the first place we need to work on is our beliefs. Transformation of our beliefs can be difficult because of the beliefs we adopted as young children and even adults. I personally had to work on so many wrong beliefs regarding my identity. I am so thankful for different people in my life that were able to see beyond the mindsets I had. They could see the potential and even though I had not value about myself, I knew people around me valued me and that gave me a boost.
The worst kind of beliefs are ones that our parents, siblings and the educational system spoke to us. My mother was a awesome mom, but my father was abusive with words and caused much physical harm to us. This in turn create wrong beliefs in us.
Wrong beliefs that keep you stagnant and stuck are formed though our experiences and our interactions with others. when we are stuck we are not flowing with the current and that means the development of who we are has stopped. We do develop but with the wrong kind of mindsets/beliefs.
Our positive results will be determined by our beliefs. Some of the beliefs are deep rooted in the subconscious, but it does not mean a person cannot change. It takes determination and hard work to create a new set of beliefs. Negative beliefs will inhibit change.
The following are Four Tips To Create Change In Our Beliefs.
1. Examine your thought patterns and know how you want to think. By this I mean do you want to be successful? Do you want to attractive positive and influential people? If you do, then I suggest you start talking to people that are confident and they are like magnets. They seem to attract people with dynamic personalities. Read books, blogs and anything you can find that pops up and you feel a connection with.
2.Learn to control your beliefs and you will control your reality. What is your reality? Live in what you know that develops you to become even more successful.
3. From the time you wake up, INTENTIONALLY SET YOUR MIND ON POSITIVE BELIEFS. As you continue to think on the positive and on becoming successful, you will establish a set of new beliefs. I can attest to this.
4. Beliefs that are positive will serve as nourishment to our soul (mind, will and emotions). They will also be an internal guide to life.
Remember wrong beliefs or thought patterns are mental notions and assumptions about ourselves and the world. Change your assumptions to “the knowing”. Keep in mind You are lovely and loved by the Universe/God.
My next post will be about Re writing your new core beliefs.
